Impact Sound Reduction
‘Impact sound’ describes the noises that are heard in rooms below or adjacent. Depending on the material compound used in the underlay, impact sound can be significantly reduced.
Moisture Protection
In the case of subfloors containing mineral compounds, flooring manufacturers stipulate the installation of a vapour barrier (PE foil). When using our products with their integrated vapour barrier (PUR 2.0; XPS 2.2 ALU; PE 2.0 ALU), there is no need for an additional PE foil.
Uneven Floor
In renovation projects involving older buildings, the rooms will often turn out to have uneven floors. These irregularities can be levelled out with the right parquet underlay.
